Cake Photos from October 1 through October 10

It's been another hectic week at Icing on the Cake. We've done lots of birthdays, for both boys and girls. From Thomas the Tank Engine to Princesses and everything in between! We've celebrated company anniversaries and Arlington librarians. Every week we have fun, challenging cakes to keep us busy.
This cake was to celebrate the anniversary of a local radio station's marketing company.
We did these cookies so the folks at the station wouldn't feel left out!
These cookies were for a reception for Arlington school librarians. They included bookworms and signs to various book types.

Boys had some fun birthdays this past weekend. We did trains, zoo animals, Super Mario, and Star Wars. What an interesting combo!
Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends smile out happily at the birthday boy on this square tiered cake.
This one-year-old's cake was a copy of his circus-tent looking invitation.
These cookies with zoo/circus animals and paw prints completed the birthday theme.
Super Mario looks really spiffy holding his patterned balloons!
We couldn't believe this cake included a Star Wars character we hadn't done...Jango Fett. He's standing next to Yoda...one of our favorites!

We did some really cute girls' cakes, too. Several shaped numbers, a unicorn, and tiered cakes all kept the girls happy!

This number eight included the birthday girl's favorite things...books, cheerleading, and her pet dachshund.
As favors for the 8-year-old's party, cookies with number 8's and the flat flowers like the cake were bagged up to go home with the revelers!
A one-year-old had butterflies, flowers, and Abby Cadabby to celebrate with!
It's a white unicorn with a pink mane and tail...just like the birthday girl requested. (She reminded her mother that a unicorn had a horn...so we included that, too!)
A bright first birthday tiered cake to match the invitation to the party.
A little girl's first birthday tiered cake that was all ruffles and roses.
A lavender dream that included lots of princesses to add to the celebration!
