In November and December, we did two wedding cakes and three groom's cakes. Here they are...
This wedding was at the W Hotel in Dallas. The cake was very contemporary with a deep purple bow to match the bridesmaids dresses.
Here's a close-up of the beautiful black swirls that were on two sides of the cake.
The groom's cake was a sculpted cake that was a copy of his favorite hole at the Dallas Cowboy Golf Club in Grapevine.
This wedding was held at the bride's home. The sides of the cake were decorated with flowers that matched the lace of her dress. The top two tiers of the cake were placed on spacers to give the small cake a grander look.

Here is a close-up of the flowers and pearls that looked like the lace of the wedding gown.
This groom's cake was red velvet with cream cheese icing. It was decorated with sugared fruit and lemon leaves.
This groom's cake was a replica of his guitar. It was plugged in and sat on the box his guitar came in. (People at the wedding actually thought it WAS a guitar!)
